This short online workshop is specifically tailored for Postdocs, but also Doctoral Researchers in their last year are welcome to join! We will explore and practice a range of effective rhetorical techniques through various individual and group exercises. Our focus centers on typical conversations in academia and science, such as internal meetings, networking, and strategic meetings with peers and collaboration partners, as well as other challenging conversations in different hierarchical contexts.
Additionally, we will delve into the critical art of giving and receiving feedback within the academic setting, emphasizing engaging and meaningful questions. We will also discuss methods to cultivate the right mindset for developing and fostering empathy, ensuring a smooth conversation flow.

Condition to Participate:
This course is open to all postdocs but also doctoral researchers in their last year are welcome to join. A stable internet connection, with a webcam and microphone, is required.
