We are excited to host the amazing team from Women in AI & Robotics on our campus! This is a unique opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and learn more about their inspiring work in advancing diversity and innovation in AI and robotics.

Women in AI & Robotics is a global nonprofit community committed to closing the gender gap in artificial intelligence and robotics by empowering women to thrive in these fields. Through the efforts of dedicated volunteers, Women in AI & Robotics fosters meaningful connections, organizes impactful events, and drives critical conversations on topics such as ethical AI, sustainability, and the transformative potential of technology.

In this introduction, our guest speakers, Carina Mieth and Nina Rodriguez, will share their mission, highlight key initiatives, and demonstrate how the community creates valuable opportunities for professional growth, collaboration, and innovation in AI and robotics.

Welcome our two guest speakers from Women in AI & Robotics Germany!

Carina Mieth is working as a freelance consultant and strategic advisor. She supports her clients in the field of product strategy and development for industrial applications of emerging technologies like AI and quantum computing. Before becoming a consultant, Carina worked on data analytics & simulation projects at TRUMPF Machine Tools. She holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Technical University Dortmund and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology

Nina Rodriguez is a data scientist at Slash.digital, a neuroscience-driven digital agency. She's specializing in machine learning and digital product development. Her expertise spans creating databases, building data pipelines, applying machine learning for predictive insights, and developing dashboards to showcase results. Additionally, she has a strong background in business administration, with a focus on accounting. Before joining Slash.Digital, she gained experience at companies such as Amazon and EY. She holds a Master of Science in Data Science and Business Analytics from Universidad Nebrija, Madrid.

As passionate advocates for diversity and female empowerment in tech, Carina, and Nina are core members of Women in AI & Robotics Germany, promoting ethical and inclusive AI solutions.
